(More customer reviews)The product shipped to me was a newer version of MetRx than pictured by the company.I knowingly spent more money ordering from this company to get the specific type of MetRx. Had I known, I would not have purchased this in bulk.Also, one of the packets in the box was sliced open a little and there was powder everywhere.
The picture and the product shipped need to match!
The company was responsive and very good about it (they refunded my shipping).

I tried a few of the products they had their but wasnt too impressed.I found this product on line and thought Ide give it a try.I love it! I am finding that Im approching my the six pack that I used to have but am still trying to lose weight around my legs. This has helped me get more musclular faster.My upper body is looking much better and the girls at the beach are in for a treat; well,we will see about that but I am now sticking with a good excecise product daily and useing this product.My muscles in my arms and sholders are starting to really get defined.I need to do more leg excercises now to work on that part of the body. I am just an amateur weight lifter but I still use the product and really like it.Two of my friends are using it now also but another one is to cheap to spend the money.I hope he reads this :>

It had a funny taste so I looked closely at the ingredients. They should post that 'This product contains the artificial sweetener Stevia!'

Not only does it contain 100% whey protein, it also contains other supplements which can further enhance results such as creatine, taurine, glutamine, leucine, isoleucine, valine. This product has been regularly advertised in magazines such as Muscle and Fitness for many years.
Each scoop contains a very high 26 grams of protein, 130 calories, 2 grams fat, and 2 grams sugars. There is about 7 grams of BCAA's per 2 scoops. Each scoop is 33 grams of powder and there are about 28 servings per container or if you double scoop about 14 servings per container.
The taste is great when mixed with milk. The vanilla flavor isn't so exciting when mixed with water but is still ok. Make sure to blend this in a blender for best taste. Or atleast use a shaker bottle to mix this with your drink, it wont be as good as blended but still ok. I wouldn't recommend mixing this with a spoon because it tends to get very clumpy and wont disolve thoroughly and doesn't taste very good. I've also tried the chocolate flavor and will say that the vanilla tastes better.
Results are good while using this product. I have gained many pounds of muscle in a few months. So far all my muscle groups have seen gains while using this product. Don't expect this product to be a miracle powder if you don't do the hard work necessary to gain muscle. For best results use before and after your workouts.

(More customer reviews)As some regular Amazon whey shoppers will know, the price of APC whey has jumped around quite a bit over time.I bought some APC vanilla whey at a relatively low price, so I can't complain about the value.But if I paid full price, I certainly would.
This whey seems to mix well, and I'm using a spoon, so that's fairly important to me.Unfortunately, after it's mixed, you have to drink it.The flavor of this, compared to other vanilla whey powders, is vile.Whether it's the vanilla flavoring or the sweeteners, I don't know, but the APC vanilla whey has an overwhelming chemical taste.This comes from someone who generally prefers vanilla-flavored whey to the chocolate flavors.
That said, I'll probably choke this stuff down, and I wouldn't completely rule out another order, but only if it cost about half of what a good whey (eg, Optimum Nutrition, Dymatize) costs.Because the price changes so much, my rating doesn't take value into account - it just compares this whey to others.Bad but not completely unacceptable - two stars.

One major point of difference that sets proteins apart from the other macronutrients is that our bodies cannot completely synthesize proteins. In other words, we need to get proteins from our diet. - 6.25 grams of soy protein
