(More customer reviews)I love this stuff. I use it every morning in my smoothies to add 26 grams of protein. I am not a body builder just trying to help control my appetite through out the day with protein. It is cooked (see product for how they do it) so your NOT eating raw eggs. It is also great for low carb - I try to watch mine since they just turn into sugar. It has no taste either so it doesn't mess with whatever your mixing it with. Highly recommended!!

(More customer reviews)This is a great protein mix. I'm not a big fan of dairy and so avoid most protein powders from cow's milk. I mix the Jay Robb, vanilla, egg white protein with Almond Breeze unsweetened chocolate milk, add a little bit of stevia - and it's a wonderful, delicious protein drink. (For an extra kick, add a little cinnamon.) Plus, being on a low sugar and carb diet, the resulting drink has very little carbs and no sugar calories.You'd never know it though... it takes like a milkshake! Yummy!

(More customer reviews)As far as I'm concerned, this stuff can't be beat!The flavor is great, and unlike some other protein drinks that I've seen, it has all natural and very few ingredients and no sugar. I really don't like to eat things that have a bunch of ingredients that I can't even pronounce!

(More customer reviews)I bought this mostly for use in breakfast smoothies.The first time using it, I added 3 tablespoons to a mixed berry smoothie (smoothie recipe on the bag calls for 3 TBS), and it was awful.It left a terrible after-taste that lingered for hours.Maybe it's better with bananas and apples, as in the recipe on the bag, than berries.Next time, I added only 1 TBS and it tasted fine and then increased to 2 TBS, which works too.It's a good additive to homemade breads. I've put the remaining 3 bags of the 4-pack in the freezer because it'll take a while to use it all.I like that it's free of artificial additives that so many protein powders have.Acceptable product, good price.

This bar is a dream bar in that it packs lots of protein, with low net carbs, However be aware that not everyone can tolerate the alcohol sugar. Some find that it causes gas or digestive challenges. Even still this bar and the double chocolate reduced sugar taste pretty darn good when compared to other chalky protein bars. Beware that this bar contains a small amount of sucralose. A questionably healthy substance for some.

(More customer reviews)I'm a huge fan of Red Mill products -they're made just around the corner from where I live, so I stop in their retail store all the time. I bought the whey through Amazon because it was a couple bucks cheaper than the retail price. I hoped to use it as a replacement to bodybuilding whey protein supplements that have a bunch of other ingredients - glucosamine, creatine, sugars, etc. I give big points to Red Mill for being simple and pure, and it's important to note they are selling a base whey protein concentrate, not a protein shake mix. It dissolves relatively well into water but not as well as leading protein drinks. The taste is what's sticking in my craw - it has a very raw, difficult to overcome flavor. It's like swallowing thin wallpaper paste (consistency) that has a strong, flat taste of the milky liquid that forms in cottage cheese containers. If you're planning to mix recipes like other reviewers recommend (adding apple juice, or spinach(?), or bananas and other fruit), you'll be fine. But be aware this is not drinkable on it's own - it requires strong flavors blended with it. I'm using it in my steel cut oatmeal in mornings, and I'll cook with it, but it looks like I'll need to stick with flavored protein shakes for meal supplementation.
