(More customer reviews)I've been seriously bodybuilding for nearly two years now. Lifting heavy is the easy part of this lifestyle. Getting in your calories with proper macro-nutrients is the hard part.

I'm a bigger guy, so my meals are around 50-60 grams of protein.. and my carb meals (such as my morning carbup and post-workout meals) have in the vicinity of 40-60 carbs.

Sometimes due to work/school and something that people tell me is a "social life" try to get in the way. To the point sometimes I either have to delay my scheduled meal... or don't have enough time to prep them. This is where I use these bars. Note that this I only eat them under extenuating circumstances, such as either being late to work or having my meal. Or getting busy at work and not being able to pause to heat up my food. Another time I have used them is when my order of Whey hasn't been delivered and I need to workout.

PLEASE note that though the bars are great, having a nice chunk of protein... the carb ratio is about 1:1, so you can't just use it for regular meals because of the sugar (insulin spikes ew!) nor does the absortion of the bar match powdered whey.

As of right now each bar is around $3. I have to eat two of them to match a carb loaded meal, so you can see how this will add up very quickly.

If you can afford it, I would have them around as BACKUP EMERGENCY USE ONLY! They taste great, but in the end the sugar makes them beefy candy bars.. but they are STILL just candy bars. And, yes, their price is this high but that's due to the conveniences they provide and the quality of the bar.
